The Inertia Infant Car Seat by Baby Trend {Giveaway}

As we slowly prepare for baby #4, we’ve realized something ~ a lot of our baby stuff is in pretty bad shape. I guess that’s to be expected after getting so much use from three kids and lending some of it out to friends. Stuff gets old, broken (or even peed on by the cat.) Did you know car seats get old? That they have an expiration date? Yup, that’s right. Safety regulations change and technology improves. Materials also wear down and manufacturers do not test older seats. (Be sure to check out the expiration date on the sticker on the side of your car seats to be sure your child is safe.)

Although we loved our Graco SnugRide, it’s ready for retirement. Cue music. Enter Inertia Infant Car Seat by Baby Trend.

Inertia Infant Car Seat Giveaway @anniestow

I’m so excited to share this car seat’s unique features with you. It is totally awesome. The Inertia seat has all new technology in its controlled motion base, so it can respond to crash forces by rotating more upright, which results in better force distribution.
It’s easy to install with its LATCH connectors and the base has four different recline positions! I’m super excited about the four different recline positions – could this possibly mean less crying in the car during the newborn stage? Less discomfort for the kids who don’t like the car/suffer from acid reflux? I cannot wait to see how my baby does in this state of the art infant seat!

Another great feature is the 5 point safety harness. Boy, have things changed. With our current seats, we have to unhook and rethread the safety straps as the kids get bigger. Not anymore! With the Inertia Infant Car Seat, all you have to do is turn a knob at the back of the seat and the straps will automatically adjust with a twist of the knob! How easy is that? Technology sure is improving! It’s a parent’s dream! Oh, and the hard latch attachments are also a huge win – no more knees to the seats and yanking on straps to make sure that seat is tight. We are big fans of the rigid latch connectors to guarantee baby’s safety!

    As a Physics Teacher I love the name… Inertia is of course the property of mass… aka baby… that controls how hard or easy it is to change the motion of mass… I like the motion control system…

    Their infant car seats have continually ranked in the top percentile in the
    industry in terms of safety, value, and ease of usage.
    When it all comes down to it, you’ll be spending over $1200 a month on your new bundle of
    joy. I have found that prices and discounts are much easier to come by, and buyer
    ratings and reviews can really help make the decision.
