I’ve been a Frosted Mini Wheats girl since the 8o’s. I never ever went off to school without having a bowl of cereal first. Little did I know back then that I’d never leave school and I’d never lose my love for a great big bowl of cereal.
My boys take after their mother. Frosted Mini Wheats? Yes, please.
Fiber? YES, PLEASE! This pregnant mother knows all too well what can happen if she doesn’t get her fill of Frosted Mini Wheats.
Kellogg’s wants you all to know that a lack of fiber in your kids’ diets is a leading cause in irregularity. Nine out of ten children do not get enough fiber in their diet! Not only can we find fiber in tasty fruits and veggies, but in some of our favorite Kellogg’s cereals. What’s shocking is that constipation is the cause for almost five percent of kid doctor visits! Push that fiber!
Mini Wheats, Fruit Loops and Apple Jacks all have between 3 and 6 grams of fiber per serving! They are great whole wheat options for getting more fiber into our kids’ diets! I still feel like a kid every time I have a bowl! And let’s face it, there have been plenty of nights when this pregnant lady has opted for a bowl of Mini Wheats even for dinner. Anyone else able to admit it? Oh, and maybe, just maybe, even serve it to the kids too!
