I’ve mentioned her before; she’s something special. Some may call us the Bobbsey Twins because they know we’re quite the pair. We’re so lucky to live in the same town and have kids who are playmates. In fact, I have a feeling that Owen and Daniel might be up to no good long before they graduate from high school together in 2029. How lucky are they? How lucky are we? How lucky am I?
She may be my blogger bestie, but she’s also a true bestie. She’s my person, my go-to Facebook friend, my Twitter pal, my #1 girl in town. If you don’t know her, you should get to know her. She’s selfless and kind, sweet and happy, fun and outgoing and has a heart of gold. She’d do anything for just about anyone. It’s quite obvious when you meet her, dimples and all, that she’s a real gem.
She’s also a super talented writer and you should read her blog. She makes me laugh and she makes me cry. There was never a doubt in my mind that she wouldn’t get picked for LTYM Boston. I encouraged her to audition, to share a piece of her beautiful writing and touch others. She went first and, as expected, set the bar high. I can’t wait to hear her perform on April 26th at Listen to Your Mother Boston. I’ll be there in the front row, cheering her on, wiping away some tears, no doubt. But I am so proud of this girl, this mom, this sister, this daughter, this friend. She’s one in a million. If you’d like to join me on April 26th, hit me up. I’ll give you a ride. And I promise, you’ll be glad you came.
Oh and guess what I learned today, she’s also amazing on video! I’ve been trying to get her to video with me for ahhhhhh, say, a year now! She’s not only a beauty, but she’s a natural! Don’t ya think we’d make a great team?
