Meet Andrew Stow, the only Stow kid who got tasty homemade baby food and was doing some great eating with his fancy purees. The only thing he wants to eat now at 19 months? Yogurt, Cheerios and french fries. In fact, I think he ate 784 french fries while we were away last week in Florida. Not good. Why won’t my kids eat their veggies?
Well, move over french fries! We’d like to introduce you all to VEGGIE FRIES! They’ve still got that crispy crunch and they’re the first vegetable french-fry to hit the market!
All four Stow Kids are pretty bad eaters when it comes to vegetables. We can’t even get them to eat their peas in their pasta anymore! Not so sure what is going on with that and when it will get better, but we’re super happy that we’ve recently discovered the goodness of Veggie Fries.
I baked some for dinner one night while their cousins were here and I told all the kids that they had to taste BOTH kinds of Veggie Fries – BROCCOLI and CARROTS. Their wasn’t much moaning and groaning when they were presented with their dinner plates.
It was a hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill kind of night and once the Veggie Fries were served (albeit with some ketchup), the kids started yelling, “I like them! Mmmmmmm. They’re good!”
“Say what now?”
“Try the carrot ones. They’re my favorite.”
“No, I like the green ones better.”
“Who are these kids? Is this Candid Camera?”
The minute these fancy looking fries came out of the oven looking all perfectly golden and crispy, I had to try them. In fact, all the adults were dying to try them and we loved them even more than the kids! Veggie Fries are good!

Worth a try! I find that it is best to keep trying with kids because they really do change as they get older. I can’t believe the things my 11 year old eats now. I’m not sure I would have ever imagined it at 3.

Picky eaters of the world..unite! Veggie fries sound like a great side dish for our next big family get-together (it’s hard to keep track of what veggies some of my nieces and nephews will eat). Great solution and I will win Best Aunt Award!

This weekend I tried eggplant fries in a restaurant and was trying to figure out how to do at home. LOVE how they have taken all the work to add some more veggies into dinner.

We love veggies and veggie fries like eggplant and sweet potato when we go out to restaurants! I’m sure my kids would love broccoli, carrot, and flavors like Tuscan Herb!
