Girl hair – still a huge problem in this house, but she’s getting more and more independent about washing it on her own and putting it up and out of her face when I ask her to (ummm, that’d be every day.) Nine seems to be the magical age where she is beginning to obsess over her looks in the mirror and what her hairstyle says about her. It must be long. She must play with it in the mirror a lot. Her part must be straight.
She’s mastered a fishtail braid. Unfortunately, all the adorable up-do’s are gone just minutes after they are daintily tied up in the kids’ bathroom.
“What happened to your pretty hair?”
“I took it out. It looked weird.”
“I took it down on the bus.”
It’d be so much easier to deal with if we could cut it, but it seems to be out of the question. Plus, there’s dance – bun hair – up-do hair. You know how it goes.
After using the SoCozy hair products for over a month now, Emily’s hair smells better, is smoother and silkier after using the conditioner and easier to brush out. She likes having her own professional products for her hair (just like Mommy) and she likes using the detangler whenever she needs it! Now if only she could blow dry it herself when she’s all done washing it! It’s still such a chore!
So have you tried SoCozy? You can find these professional hair products for kids at your local Target. SoCozy products are completely non-toxic and help make tub and shower time more streamlined with their 3 in 1 shampoo + conditioner + wash. It smells so good too!
I love the SoCozy hair tutorials – be sure to check them out. Emily loves learning how to create new hairstyles on YouTube! What’s your favorite look? I just love this braided tiara!
I can’t wait to hit up the shampoo aisle next time I’m at Target to get some of the Behave Stylizer products! The styling gel sure will come in handy for the upcoming dance recital! Can’t wait to try them!
Disclosure: I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for SoCozy. I received Target gift cards to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
