Hard to believe he’s finally walking (for just about a month now) and talking up a storm. When I got back from Mom 2 Summit, I found a list of Andrew’s words that Grandma and Granddad made for us. I must get this list of words up on the blog before he runs his first 5K!
Andrew’s first words:
Daddy, Mommy, hot, hat, Mmmm, yaaaaaaa (for yes), Emmy, ow, uh oh, socks, shoes, tasty, bubble, fishies, one, two, three, E-I-E-I-O, turkey, gobble, lunch, clean, phone, poo poo, tub, phone, pizza, please, want one, Granddad, ball, up, doggie, bus, Go Dog Go, stinky, Elmo, cookie, cracker, Spongebob, hi, bye, see ya, Lego, Nana, yucky, please, cheese.
The kid can also sing the ABCs like nobody’s business – the perfect tune and the best E, F, G I’ve ever heard.
He’s growing up fast and it kills me. With each day that passes, I realize that he’s it – my very last baby until my grandchildren. So I’m trying to enjoy him as much as I can. I guess the fact that I’m making daily videos on YouTube will help me remember all of his baby-ness – the shrieking, the not eating anything healthy, the throwing stuff, the splashing in the tub, “the face.” All of it.
He still naps when we’re home and he really loves his crib. He’s also still loving his tommee tippee binkies. We’re just loving the new fun style designs. It’s funny how the package says 6-18 months though because he’s still in love with his bedtime binks at 19 months. That fairy will be coming soon, bur for now he’s a tommee tippee hoarder. There seems to a tommee tippee binky colony growing underneath his crib. We can’t really ever go to Target without picking up something tommee tippee-ish for Andrew. He’s a huge fan.
Check out the cute little video below as Andrew does his shopping at Target!
They’re still the only binky Andrew will take, probably because they’re shaped JUST LIKE me! In fact, these are the pacifiers that most babies accept the first time. I guess that explains it. I love the new vibrant designs for baby girls AND boys!
You can purchase tommee tippee for your little one right here.

I never did pacifiers with my kids. I can’t believe how big Andrew is getting.
These are really cute pacifiers. I only had one child that liked using them. Andrew is so cute!!

What a cutie you have. Son refused to take a pacifier. If it didn’t have food coming out of it he wanted no part of it. Didn’t even suck his thumb.

He’s so adorable! My kids either didn’t take soothers or stopped wanting them early. Except my one daughter she had hers until 18mo bc I was pregnant right away and felt bad! Lol otherwise I’d have taken it!
What a cutie. I used pacifiers for my babies

My son loved his pacifier when he was little! He gave it up way easier than my daughter gave up her thumb!
Binkies are great soothers! Pretty colors, too! We used them until our son was five to six months old, it was rough after that, LOL!
