Lots of you may know that February is Heart Health Month. I recently got the chance to shop BJ’s Wholesale Club for some heart healthy produce. Since my kids love smoothies on a Saturday morning, Andrew and I decided on strawberries, raspberries and blueberries to be the key ingredients in our “Berry Heatlhy Smoothies!” YUM!
We combined blueberries, raspberries and strawberries and a whole banana in a blender with a quarter of a cup of water and blended until smooth. Then we added Chobani vanilla yogurt and a teapsoon of honey until we got it to a smoothie consistency. If your fruit is super sweet you can skip the honey!
You know you’ve hit the jackpot smoothie when the kids ask for seconds! That’s exactly what happened this morning after everyone tried our Berry Healthy Smoothie!
