It’s my favorite holiday of all and it’s here. It’s time for Thanksgiving. It’s time for family and friends and traditions and making memories with loved ones. Let’s not forget good food and drink and most of all, being thankful. I love this time of year and getting together with the people that mean the most to me. Whether you are entertaining at your home or traveling to a relative or friend’s, I have some exciting options to share with your loved ones this holiday season. It’s the giving part that is the best, isn’t it?
Many of you may know that we added to our family in 2017. Piper Stow is our new love who helps calm us down, gives the best cuddles and loves us all back, even if it is in the form of foot attacks from under the bed and toe nibbling! He’s actually growing up, calming down and chilling out!
Piper is a really good kitty and he loves the person who feeds him the most. (That’d be be me, his mama.) He recently got to test out Tropical Blendz Cat Food with Turkey and Coconut Oil. Coconut Oil? Yup. If it’s good for us, it has be to good for our fur babies too! So just in time for Thanksgiving, Solid Gold has new lines of pet food for all cat and dog owners! It’s sure to be a feast! We love this natural cat food for Piper that is gluten and grain free. We like to give him wet food as a treat and it’d be the perfect stocking stuffer in his stocking this year. Which reminds me, Piper needs a stocking! Happy Thanksgiving Piper! Find our more about Solid Gold and where you can purchase it for your furbaby here. Also, check out discounts on Solid Gold here.
We rescued Piper from a shelter here in Massachusetts that required a long drive to Westfield. Well worth it though, because we rescued the best kitty around. So many friends have asked us where we got him, how we found him, etc. We used social media to find him and take him home. This holiday season, we are giving back with a Petlanthropy Donation Gift Card. These gift cards help out all the amazing shelters who need more money to give our rescued pets the best care before they find their forever homes. Whether it’s for cats or dogs, you can donate this holiday season too. We chose to donate to the Westfield Homeless Cat Project, because that’s where our journey with Piper began and we want to help save more precious pets just like Piper.
Looking for some Thanksgiving dessert ideas? Last week, we heard the doorbell ring and were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful Edible Arrangments® bouquet for the entire family. We all went a little crazy when we saw the chocolate dipped fruit!
We received the Salted Caramel Harvest Bouquet™ with Orange Swizzle Berries and we devoured it! It was a gorgeous presentation in a keepsake pumpkin full of salted caramel apple wedges, chocolate dipped strawberries, pineapple leaves, chocolate covered pineapple, along with grapes, cantaloupe and strawberries. This would make the perfect holiday gift for a loved one this year. Not only is it a tasty dessert everyone will love, but it is also a beautiful centerpiece that will dress up any Thanksgiving dessert table!
Looking for some low calorie, feel good drinks made from natural sugars and healthy botanicals this holiday season? Be sure to check out Clean Cocktails for the Modern Mixologist by Tara Roscioli and Beth Ritter Nydick from Blue Barn Kitchen Publishing. The photographs of the cocktails are beautiful and I’ve been flipping through trying to decide which Thanksgiving cocktails to serve this year. They all look and sound amazing! The book is divided into chapters that cover the Home Bar, Bitters and Syrups, Classics with a Twist, Sweet and Fruity, Tart and Spicy, Fresh and Green and Herbs and Teas! I kind of want to try ALL of them! I like the idea of the Fertile Blonde, which is a gin drink mixed with oranges, shredded coconut, pinapple, freshly squeezed orange juice, coconut syrup and ice! YUM! Gin was my drink of choice on my recent trip to Ireland, so why not continue it here mixed with tons of Vitamin C!
We also got to taste Sipp Sparkling Organic Drink, made with nothing but blended fruits, herbs and agave. YUM! It’s available in six flavors, but I got to try mojo berry – a sparkling organic drink mixed with blackberry, mint and lime. Whether you are drinking them alone or adding them to a mixed drink this holiday season, Sipp Sparkling Organic Drink will be a great addition to your holiday entertaining! We love drinking mojo berry on it’s own!
Is Thanksgiving one of your favorite holidays too? I hope some of these products will help you entertain your guests with ease so you can focus on being thankful and making new memories! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
Wow! Glad I popped by your blog! I like it! I love your writing style!
Where do you get your inspiration from?
If something tastes better than you expected, you could use the word wow to express your surprise. If you say something tastes amazing, you’re saying it tastes even better than great or really good.
Oh wow! This is so awesome!
