The weather is finally legit. Do you guys remember just how bad things were here in New England in March? Even in the beginning of June? Let’s face it, you just never know what you’re going to get here in New England. But it looks like the good weather is here to stay now that the kids are finally out of school. They’ve only been out for two weeks, but it feels like an eternity. Who’s with me?
There’s nothing better than playing outside in this gorgeous weather either, minus the nasty mosquitos and ticks that we all know are lurking about. We recently got an itch-free yard, thanks to Mosquito Joe who serviced our entire yard with a mosquito barrier spray, which helps to eliminate mosquitoes, ticks and fleas.
We’ve noticed a big difference in the amount of bug bites and itchiness here at the Stow house since the spray. We are spending way more time outside doing the things we love like playing wiffle ball, jumping on the trampoline, gardening, cooking on the grill, riding bikes and making s’mores around our firepit. Last night we even had friends over for dinner and our guests even noticed a decrease in the mosquitoes! Gotta love being outside again!

Our Mosquito Joe technician was informative and helpful. He advised me to close all doors and windows and take in any clothing from our back deck area. We were told to avoid being outside for one hour after the spray and he left a flyer filled with useful information about the service. We are now good for 21 days! And with each additional spray, we’ll see even a bigger decrease in the mosquito population! Our technician swiftly walked our property and targeted all of the mosquito breeding areas, being sure to break their life cycle.
